Personally, I am loving this new series, it's got such a great vibe going on. The interactions between existing characters have been spot on, the new characters are really intriguing. I can't wait for them to assemble properly and get their war on.
Give me some opinions, I have a new friend in the fandom who thinks that there is only negativity for the volume five series out there.
A side note, but have you entered Marcus To's awesome contest yet? Such fantastic prizes to be won. See the last blog for a link to his tumblr headquarters! I'd enter but my actual copy of #1 hasn't arrived yet, I only have my digital copy to work with, might have to get creative.

The end of New Warriors. Again.
November's issue has been called "The Finale" so it's all over again, folks. Some, more hopeful than me, people believe that it will be relaunched as part of All-New Marvel v3 but I have serious doubts.
This time around, it had everything going for it including a great writer/artistic team, amazing covers, a mix of new and old characters that were exciting and refreshing. It was humorous and dramatic and thoughtful and DOOOOOOOOMED from the start.

Admin update: New folder
I've created a new folder called "Allies".
It's, I guess, for images not so clear cut. For example, Guardians of the Galaxy's Vance Astro or the entire team. He's not a member of the New Warriors and he's not Vance Astrovik, he is an alternate version of Vance or Vance is an alternate of him so Major Victory does have a strong connection to the New Warriors because of this.
That's kind of one way to use the folder, another example could be Firestar in her new team of X-Men or her old relationships with Spider-Man and Iceman; Namor or Namora in relation to Namorita; Nova with the cosmic asskickers; new Nova with Beta-Ray Bill; crossovers wit

New Warriors Volume Five #1 is on sale
It might of got lost in the Guardians of the Galaxy show but what did you think of the launch issue of the new series of New Warriors?
I purchased it via the app because I'd be waiting a fortnight before I saw a copy. Everything Justice, Speedball, Scarlet Spider and Hummingbird made me happy. I liked their separate adventures in Salem and Mexico. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how Kaine works as part of a team if he struggles in a partnership. As an introductory, I thought it did okay and I can't wait to learn more about the newer characters Watersnake (so serious), Sun Girl (she's fun!), and eventually Haechi.
